{"id":1359,"date":"2019-03-31T20:44:41","date_gmt":"2019-03-31T20:44:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sdi.thoughtstorms.info\/?p=1359"},"modified":"2019-03-31T20:44:41","modified_gmt":"2019-03-31T20:44:41","slug":"1359","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.thoughtstorms.info\/?p=1359","title":{"rendered":"2019 &#8211; Time for Python 3"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><br \/><\/p>\n\n\n<p>OK, it&#8217;s 2019<\/p>\n\n\n<p>Finally time to upgrade to Python3 for all my Python projects.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>In particular that means ThoughtStorms wiki and Project ThoughtStorms<\/p>\n\n\n<p>If you are using either the project or the <a href=\"https:\/\/pypi.org\/project\/thoughtstorms\/\">thoughtstorms library <\/a>then be prepared that they will all be moving to Python3 in the near future.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>Given that Python2 is going to be deprecated next year, and I don&#8217;t really have the time and inclination to support both, I&#8217;m moving to Python3 this year.
